Favorite Concealers

Concealers are one of the products I just couldn't live without. So when one of my friends sent me a text asking me for a concealer recommendation, I figured I should write a post on my very favorites. I have four concealers, each with their own purpose.

The first is E.L.F. Maximum Coverage Concealer. I use this almost as a foundation primer when I'm using a lighter coverage foundation. Creamy and blendable, I stipple this on the places I need extra coverage, and since it sets so quickly, I can apply my regular foundation after that for more coverage without looking heavy or cakey. I find that I need to use this concealer with a brush though, as it just doesn't sit right on my skin when I use my fingers.

The next is the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, which I think we all know by now I love. This concealer does it all, and most times when I travel this is the only concealer I pack as I find it is great for blemishes and under the eyes. For best results I apply this to my skin and then let it set partially for a minute or two before I blend for maximum coverage.

Next I have the Maybelline Age Rewind Dark Spots Concealer, which was the first concealer I ever really loved. This isn't the best for full-coverage, but it looks incredibly natural on the skin so I like it for a lighter makeup look. This one comes in especially handy in the summer as it stays on even through the hottest and sweatiest days.

Finally comes the most high-coverage option, Hard Candy's Glamoflauge. This one is seriously high coverage, and covers pretty much everything without problem. The downside to this one is that it is a bit drying, so I don't use this everyday. This product comes out on the days when my skin just isn't looking great, or for special occasions when I want to look flawless.

What is your favorite concealer?
